I went to my doctor 2 days ago to have x rays and blood drawn. When I had the blood drawn I got very lightheaded and passed out.Upon awakening I vomited quite a few times but the vomit was yellow. This was on an empty stomach! Any deatils as to why my vomit was yellow?

IT is called bile. Bile is the acidic juices which digest your food. Usually you only throw up bile when your stomach is empty. So, there ya go.

A few times, I was so sick with a stomach bug that I filled a few bags of that stuff!!! (4 hour car ride)

Ugh.....stomach bugs....you don't know which end needs the toilet more.

Bile is always in your stomach ready to help digest any food/drink. So your stomach is never totally empty. Bile is yellow or green. Is normal.

Bile. When your stomach is empty, and you vomit, you vomit bile. I'd be more concerned with passing out, though.

It's called bile. Stomach juice. That's why the doc's office wasn't concerned about it when you did it.
