I have tan skin and brown eyes, and my current hair color is chesnut brown, so what color should i dye my hair? (should i go lighter or darker?oh, and i'm also a girl.... i don't know if that helps.)

Don't color it, just get it highlighted to a lighter golden brown. I think that would look nice with your color and you won't have to to it so much and the roots won't show when it grows out.

From a guy that loves tan and brown eyes----copper red and a little bit of blonde hi-lites throughout...I would love to see you in that with nice brown eyes and tanned---Wow !! I dated a girl like this for 3 years and she was absolutely gorgeous. She got looks all the time, even from women as the hair with the tan stood out so amazingly and was shiny as well as in ringlets down past her shoulders. She moved to Australia with her parents-damn it. I do think I will fly out tonight.

I think that you should stay the same but just add highlights to help bring out your skin tone. they need to be a lighter brown or blond. Just make sure it's not that really harsh yellow blonde

LIGHTER for sure! Think britney spears and how fricken HOT she was when she had blonde hair. She has brown eyes too. Good Luck... also, if you have darker eyebrows, have them lighten them too it will look MUCH more natural!

i would go darker, since its winter now, in the summer you should dye your hair lighter colors with highlights and in the winter you should use warmer colors.

what ever you do dont dye it black, dont go darker, and just stay light, go a tiny bit lighter, and then maybe later but some tiny highlights (beige) i bet it would look nice, and yes they have beige, it looks nice, for highlights

go to lighter hair. like yellowish. i think highlights will make your hair great. you will have loads of time to dye all hair when you grow because it will be whiter. if i had your picture i could tell you more. i hope you found this advice great. Good luck!!

I wouldn't go blonde, the roots show too bad. I would go a shade darker.

usually ppeople with dark hari and dark skin dye their hair a red color, deep dark red..

go lighter if i had a picture it would be better but try a burgundy red not to light
