Well I know it pretty well, but thats not much help to you as I dont live in London any more.
How about doing some evening classes, dance lessons or something similar to get out and meet new people.

I felt like this when I first moved to London, and as we know London can be a damn lonely hugh place if you don't know anybody. I found something that I had an interest in and joined some groups and clubs. I also got chatting to people at work and started to have some fun. Now, I know loads of people. You need to put yourself out there. I know it can be daunting but once you have done it a few times you will build up your confidence and it will get easier. Good luck

Sorry, I don't know London but I can tell you from experience that life is one day at a time. Try to find the best in each one because when it's gone you can never get it back. Do you r best in all you do and be proud of the fact that you did your best so there are no regrets. Try not to get caught up in negative thoughts and feeling sorry for yourself, easier said than done, I know. Good luck.

I understand that feeling.
When i first moved to London I didn't know anyone excpet the people I worked with and my partner.
I started chatting to people through a festival forum and soon had a buzzing social life in London. Find a forum that is about something you are interested in - sport, music, soaps, whatever - there is one out there whatever you are interested in. They often have social evenings and you just go along and get talking and voila - friends who you have something in common with!

Dude, c'mon...London has so much to offer! Go out in between sleep and work...that's all there is to it. Make time to have fun, get drunk and meet some people. If you are tired at work the next day f'kem!

You say you work? Is there nobody at work you'd quite like to befriend? If there is then just bite the bullet & start talking to them. Ask if they'd want to go for a drink after work or go to the local pub for lunch. I met some great people at the place where I worked but sadly they've all left & I've lost touch with them!

im in london and not working.
im alone most of the time.
but all these things i think happen because we do not take the time or have the know how to make better decisions.
london can be a lonely place without good friends.
take time to make time for new people in your life.
