I have found that I have been wearing the wrong contact in my left eye and it's only a slight difference but stiil wrong number I was priscribed,I think I have been wearing them for almost a year now.

YES, you can hurt yourself wearing wrong contacts. A contact lens practitioner gives you contact lenses considering specific measurements of your eye. If the measurements mismatch with the contact lens specifications, you may land up having complications.

No, it won't change your prescription, your eyes change prescription due the growth/shape changes of the eye, nothing to do with what you put in front of it...It will however, give you headaches and blurred vision...also some people will get eye infections from switching contact lenses from eye to eye... I would go to the place where you get your contacts and ask them for a "free sample" until your order for the right lens come in...most opticals have samples on hand.

If it is only a slight difference, it shouldn't be too bad. Your eyes will tend to adjust naturally to the difference if it is a higher prescription, which isn't a great thing. Just like if you wear glasses that are the wrong prescription, it isn't "good" for your eyes but it isn't the worst thing (better than not wearing anything at all!).

Yes, you can hurt your eyes.You have to go back to your optometrist and check again your eyes and to get a new contact /recently Oasis is one of the best/ with the right strength.Don't wait any longer
