If I eat chocolate or drink anything with caffeine now that I've started taking wellbutrin, my hands get pretty shaky. Wellbutrin alone doens't make me shaky. Anyone else experience this?

For the first month or two after I started taking it, I was much more sensitive to caffeine. But since I just can't imagine life without my morning coffee, I have built up a tolerance to it again. Just be cautious about using caffeine while on it. Moderation is the key.

I have taken Wellbutrin for both smoking cessation and as an anti-depressant. I do know that it works of addictions. For instance when you eat chocolate you may be releasing serotonin whereby Wellbutrin ups your serotonin level. I found that I didn't want coffee or cigarettes while taking it. You may be in caffeine withdrawal making you a little shaky but it will go away.

Hello I am currently on Wellbutrin and posted a question about nightmares I have had yesterday. At first I could not drink coffee in the morning and got shaky too. Now it doesn't bother me at all. I did pretty much stopped smoking. I still love sweets I don't think there is a drug out there that could stop me.

No, even with 70% dark, a single bar will do nothing in a dog that large. Do CALL your vet, though and ask the same question: you'll feel better about it. And remember, grain alcolhol is toxic to humans but we can sure drink a lot of beer without dying. Chocolate is only mildly toxic to dogs.
