Treatment
Eyelid twitching usually disappears without treatment. In the meantime, the following steps may help:
Get more sleep.
Drink less caffeine.
Lubricate your eyes with eye drops.
If twitching is severe, small injections of Botulinum toxin can temporarily cure the spasms.
Please see the webpages for more details on Eyelid twitch.

Had that happen before and last for weeks. It was back when I was in college, and working. Doc told me it's actually from not getting enough rest. When I finally decided to get some more sleep than I had been, it went away.

I think it's stress related. I get plenty of sleep, but my students drive me crazy sometimes and I'm getting them again. First got them while teaching public high school in Mississippi! For me, they come and go and you just deal with them or remove yourself from the stressor.

Mine goes away if I can figure out what I am worried about that's causing it.
