Don't use a hair straightner, hair dryer, or curling iron...unless you REALLY HAVE TO! It fries your har literally, and is not good for your scalp. Try letting your hair dry naturallyafter taking a shower, and if you still want your curls...try using "Wash And Curl" Brand shampoo. It naturally curls your hair in the shower, and that way after your hair is dried, you still have nice bouncy curls on your head...yet your hair is not fried!

Protecting your hair from heat is very important, so I would walk into a salon and ask what they recommend. I dont generally buy my styling products from salons but that is something you should spend a lil more on. But also try the Walmart salon. The prices on their products are pretty good.

A leave in conditioner before you blow dry and if your hair is fine or straight use Redken's hot sets. If your hair curls easily mist it with shine spray (lightly) like Biosilks silk therapy Shine On.
