the code is given to customer when car is new if its not in the owners manual its probably long gone there are a couple more ways to find it,you can take the car to a ford dealer and have them pull the code with a diagnostic tester or you can locate the module (vsm) in the right rear quarter panel, the panel beside the pass rear seat,it may be difficult to accsess without the proper tools but if you can get to it there is a sticker attached to the module usually 5 numbers.

decrease than the sprint, purely left of the brake pedal you will locate the substantial controller. it particularly is a silver field with 2 long plugs with a minimum of 20 wires in each and each. on the part of the field, there will be a sticky label with writing on it. seek for the 4 numbers after the prefix "C-" it is your door code. as quickly as you have this quantity, punch it in then carry down the only million/2 and the three/4 buttons for 2 seconds. interior the subsequent 5 seconds, enter your very own 4 digit quantity. The controller will then artwork for the two numbers as long with the aid of fact the battery does not bypass ineffective or is disconnected. Then it reverts to the everlasting quantity purely.

There are a few places it could be and one place that it will be. It could be on the rear tailgate hinge on a sticker with 5 numbers on it, or one of the doors after you open look for the sticker or a card in the owners manual, It will be on the module itself, on the drivers side rear behind the panel. Very hard to see unless you remove part of the panel.

kayef57 is correct.... either you are looking at pulling that side of the wall to find the code, or biting the bullet and having the Ford dealer use a Ford scan tool to get the code (other scan tools don't have the software to pull the code usually).

it is either under the dash on the driver side or it is in the jack compartment in the rear or you can turn the key to on and off several times in a row and the door locks will pop up and down then you can program your own code sometimes you have to go from on to off 8-9 times
