I would ask what they need. Many people bring food, but no drinks so maybe juice boxes???
Keep in mind that although the party is for a 3, there may be older and younger kids there. Avoid foods that are choking hazards (hotdogs, grapes, etc) and avoid anything with peanuts or nuts in it.
If you bring a Chex-type snack mix that is peanut free (and bring the ingredient list) you could make the mom of a peanut allergic kid very happy. Sometimes these kids have to bring their own backup snacks to parties because the parents can't allow the kids to eat foods unless they know they are safe.

DO N_O_T do sandwiches...if the mothers and fathers will freak approximately pizza then they're going to freak much greater with sandwiches. at the start you isn't waiting to refrigerate the sandwiches, 2d of all maximum sandwich meats are incredibly severe in salts and perspectives (and all the wellbeing freak mommies won't enable their toddlers consume that), and thirdly not each toddler likes an identical style of sandwich or toppings (mustard, Mayo- in the event that they might even consume mayo). Pizza is your suitable wager. merely have it further once you're waiting to consume- then you definately won't could difficulty approximately refrigeration...and you will order a meat pizza and a veggie pizza- then they're going to have not got something to whinge approximately. OH and be confident you carry some snacks (we merely did apple and orange slices) and a variety of of different moist wipes/ hand wash gel.

Well if you're going to a 3 yr old's party there should be food already there unless the parent asked you to bring something. If she did, then ask them what is appropriate. Kids will eat anything but they love things like hot dogs, fries, chiken nuggets, mac & cheese (especially that), etc... Now if you're talking about a crowd pleaser then make some cupcakes and put some fun designs or colorful sprinkles on them and they'll love that.
You should try to avoid anthing with nuts in it though, there are a lot of kids who are alergic and some may not even know about it. All of my kids classes (pre-k and K) always ask not to bring in anything with peanut products or peanut oils in at their parties just in case.

Brownies, cookies, cupcakes! The list is endless, kids are really good at eating, especially 3 year olds, I might even try a veggie tray, I bet with all of the sweets around, the parents would appreciate that!
Good Luck!

It all depends on what you're looking for...
For a finger food (and sticking to a healthy snack) try a fruit platter with a yogurt dip.
If your looking for something sweet and easy Rice crispy treats or JELLO Jigglers are always a hit.
And if you looking for a "meal" why not pigs in a blanket!(hot dogs wrapped in Pillsbury dough, add a piece of cheese, bake, and dip them in ketchup or mustard!)
Good luck at the party!
