Power went off in the street last night setting off house alarm. After 30 mins the alarm stopped sounding but when the power came back on the alarm control panel does not respond to the resetting code.Subsequently the strobe is still flashing outside but i cannot set the alarm.Have phoned the installers but they will only come out to look for a flat fee of £45 plus £25/HR, they will not advise over the phone.Alarm installed 1997, Veritas security system.

I have worked with ADT in the past...enter you code turning off your alarm system two times in a row..meaning quickly. Their are other ways..you can unplug it..then open up the alarm box unplug the battery for about 1 minute...
