I saw a commercial for one last night and it has this new "Personal Technology". You touch the door handle and the doors open, you turn the knob in the ignition and by your fingerprint it can start the car. I work in a garage and this raises many questions. When you drop your car off at a garage how is the person supposed to work on it if they can't get it started or the doors unlocked? I don't have your fingerprints. What if it lets you sit by the road? {God forbid if a 2007 would do that since its new but ya never know} What if you want someone to pick the car up for you? What if you die? Is there some type of override that can be done or a switch to be flipped?

When I was looking at a 2007 Nissan Quest, I also looked at the 2007 Maxima's since I have a 2000 Maxima now... From what I was told, they program it to recanise your figerprint, but it still works with a key, so you can lave the key for the people who work on it, or if someone is picking it up for you etc... It also has a keyfob with the little buttons to unlock and lock the doors...

So they have it covered... I also was wondering about this till I got a chance to look at them in person... Nice cars... I love them... And I still love my 2000 Maxima...

I very own a 2006 Maxima and that's the suitable all around motor vehicle I truthfully have ever owned. that is sporty and rapid. i think of that is stylish yet it nevertheless incorporates 4 adults even possibly 5 adults very truthfully. that is loaded with often happening good points that are techniques on different automobiles. i don't understand something on the subject of the Mazda so I won't remark or evaluate however the Maxima is an surprising selection for an all around motor vehicle.

It's a pretty nice car. Go take it for a test drive. I just bought a new Toyota Camry SE V6 and I like it. The Maxima has a new shifting technology where it doesn't "jerk" when shifting gears which is nice (smooth shift).
