he is from fla and I live in Ct. My mother sent me a birth announcement that was in the paper I don't know if it is the same man. We do not have any type of communication and have not in 24 years. I am just curious

why do you want to find out? Have you been wanting to get him in your adult childs life? Does your child want to know his dad now?
What would you want him to do if it is him?
You would have to actually contact him and hope it is not a 20 year old guy with the same name.
You may just have to forget him.
