I think they actually say "Northeast Metro Area" or they say the "Tri State Area" referring to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

You could call us that. But we just pretty much refer to ourselves as Jersey (East Coast)! A lot of people always try to shoot New Jersey down. I mean even in some films. Like Jersey is the lowest place to live. But it is quite the opposite. Especially being neighbors of The Big Apple!
