You mean Eclectus, right? Very beautiful birds. I'm not sure what your question is but I've posted some sites that may give you some answers.

Yes you are right. The Eclectus females are bright red and purple, with black beaks. The males are a beatiful green with an orange candy corn color beak. The Soloman Island Eclectus female and male parrots were once thought to be a differnet species because they were so differently colored. They are by far the easiest parrots to tell apart, based on gender. They are wonderful, docile birds!!!
