Not funny but yes, teenagers are very emotional. It is already an emotional time going through puberty but then add in your first experiences with feelings and love for another person...that's an awful lot of emotion to handle. It's all understandable.

No. I really don't find it funny. Annoying at times, but not funny. These young pre-teens and teens these days are not being raised with the love and attention they need at home (the majority of them anyway). They take these situations much too seriously and have even resorted to suicide because of them.
When you look around at how totally unstable people have become you have to realize it filters down to our children, the ones that have not had a good upbringing.
I feel sorry for them and yet there are times when I want to get in their face and make them realize that there are so many other things they need to focus on besides a broken heart.
I was young. I remember how it felt. It hurt. But not enough to make me want to do anything stupid. Some of these kids do not know any better. They are grasping!

It's funny, but we've also all been there, where we thought that it was the end of the world at the time, so you can also sympathize with the kids sometimes too.. It's just funny how serious they take everything though. I don't think they have any idea how much those things aren't going to matter to them in a few years.

At one point in time, my friends and I went over this similar topic and, yes, all we can do is laugh at ourselves and the follies of our youth.
That is why we need to be grateful for all the adults who are more than sincere enough to inform and remind us every now and then that there is more to life. Yes, there will be more heartaches -- not just romantically speaking -- but we can ALWAYS expect for something better, if not the best, to happen as well.

That's because girls ( young ) are very emotional. Sometimes dating someone for a long time can hurt when being dumped. Its sometimes because they were in love or because of something esle.

I totally agree with you. Kids should enjoy being kids. Like come on, how far can a relationship REALLY go when your 13? And why cry and fight over it when it lasts 3 weeks? SOmetimes 4 days? haha. And they always seem to think they're in love..........

teens are into drama, its what they thrive on. Too bad they don't put as much effort into their school work.
