He called and told me that the custodian had clean up urine the day before stating it was all over the floor and toilet. It was done on purpose he said. Then he noticed a certain pattern. The next day my sons friends caught him doing the same thing and told the teacher. My son will sometimes do the same thing at home. He is very aggressive. He threw his backpack at me because I wouldnt carry it on the way home from the bus stop. Any parents have any solutions. He has been diagnosed with ODD and ADD but I dont want to medicate him.

PLEASE Get him some counceling. Start at the school. Schools have professionals to deal with these issues and can refer,if necessary, you to an outside psychologist. Don't hesitate. Get this in motion ASAP. Good Luck!

You need to find a support group that can help you cope with him. His doctor should have a list of groups near you. Is he coded at school?

I would also suggest evaluating why you do not want to medicate him if that is what his doctor says he needs. If a medication can help correct a chemical imbalance in his brain, why not give it to him?

If he couldn't see the front of his classroom at school because his eyes don't work properly would you deny him glasses and tell him to try harder?

If he had an ear infection, would you skip the antibiotics because people fought off ear infections for thousands of years without them?

I think that is unacceptable for a young boy to pee on the floor on purpose at school or anywhere. I think he should get some kind of punishment for this at home as well as school. And for the ODD and the ADD I think you should medicate him that is the only way that he will not get in to trouble and you may feel better about him and he may feel better about himself too.

Obviously your son has anger issues and is in trouble. If he had a broken arm, you would seek help immediately, broken emotions are no different.

Medication may or may not be the answer, but you need to take your son to a doctor, right now, and I mean today.

You have an aggressive child acting out in inappropriate ways, you need to get him help, this is only going to get worse.

Good luck to you.

do not put him on meds. spank him now! that is the problem today people dont spank like they used to. and doctors found a way to say that the child cant help his behavior, (calling it ADD) if people would spank their kids and teach them to take responsability for their behavior there would be les than 1/4 of the kids with "ADD"

This is completly unacceptable. I would medicate him and put him in couseling. If you reaaly love him, you will do what is best even if that means medication.
