i just become a member in a local gym.the gym is small and no gym instructor. the problem is, no other ppl going to the gym.im alone in the gym lifting weights, and i feel weird.is it ok?

sure it's fine! but do whatever you feel most comfortable doing, obviously. Or maybe join another gym? Heck, try and get and friend to get a membership at your gym so you can work out together. I would be quite pleased to work out in an empty gym, actually.

Get a personal trainer for one or two sessions at least to develop a program, then do the exercises.

Not sure of the reason why you would want to go to a gym.

* if you are fat, you should be running instead
* if you are skinny, you would need to put in a lot of effort
* if you are single, there are many girls who don't care about a guy's physique, as long as it is not too gross
* also I don't need to bulk up to appear threatening. I just threaten aggressors with law suits.

Yeah it's fine. Do not worry about if others are there or not. I actually prefer when there are less people around. That way I have more access to the machines and don't feel weird in the weight room. :) LIVE IT UP and congrats on starting a work out regimen!

i would not fill weird there that would be my kine of gym i hate having a bunch of people there watching me maybe you should evite some of your friends to go and make this gym your all hang out

Trust me, if that happened to me it would be awesome...there are so many people at my gym that I have to wait and people are mean and pushy...thank you lucky stars.
