My problems are that i suffered with anxiety for 3 years so i was a recluse but now im getting out i notice i stutter a hella lot and find it hard to memorise things, i can read a book and not even remember what im reading, i feel like a retard, is this a memory problem or could this be due to the antidepressents i take?

First, you are not a "retard". Second, it could be from the meds as they do have side effects. It could also be from a lower self esteem from either the condition or the fact that you are taking meds. You need ot get a good counselor and work through any possible esteem issues, and also work with your doctor(s) on finding the right med for you. Not all meds work for everyone. Once you get the med issue worked out you should see improvement in your memeory. Again, go see your doctor.

Yes. This could be slightly due to the antidepressants that you take. Have you asked the physician who prescribed them to you? He or she will be very helpful. You may be able to change the dosage and/or medicine. You are not a retard. You may want to try keeping a journal. This helps tremendously.

It could be casued by hte medication you take, I read a sotry just yesterday about how the dose of her antidepresants made her loose her memory and she even forgot how to read.
you should see your Dr about what you are taking, and talk to him/her about this because this could be soemthing more or something less but its better to be safe then osrry
