don't seek to find this person, they want to remain behind the scenes, and come to you at the right moment, just let it happen... I'd be flattered, but don't let it weigh on your mind too much, continue life as you do everyday, enjoy it.. when they are ready to come to you, they'll come.... but if the letter was at all creepy, please be careful, you never know if its someone that isn't looking for your best interest, if it was creepy, don't allow yourself to be alone too much, just safety precaution... :)

Yes I'd be very flattered - not every day a 59 y/o gets a love letter from a stranger! I don't think I'd try to find out who he was though in case he put it in the wrong person's locker - think of the disappointment when you find out it's meant for the lovely young lady who works in the next office!

My thought process: "o0o0o,a love letter! Yay!" " Wait...is this some kind of prank? Is someone just trying to mess with me?" "Ah, well; it's still nice to get one.Whoever wrote it is a great poet." ^_^ (i'm personally a sucker for a guy who can write great poetry) "Well, guess I'd better keep my eye out for this mysterious Mr. Wonderful...but I'd better not be obvious about it." And away I go. I will be excited and flattered and a little wary...and curious to see if I get another one soon ("Maybe in the next one he'll ask me to meet him somewhere!") Good luck with that most gals LOVE a good romance mystery (myself included) ^_^

Well it depends... if it was a freaky letter I wouldn't want to know but if it was quite romantic then either you could try and find out or just leave it and know that someone, somewhere likes you. Afterall, if that person likes you enough, they might not be anonymous for much longer!

Id try to find out who wrote it...then decide if i wanted to fall in love with that person.

maybe a bit flattered ,maybe just a bit curious ...or sometimes even annoyed ...but I would try to find out the person for sure.

i would magically transform into Nancy Drew, find the person, talk some sense into him, i hate mysterious luv notes, they are so CRAPPY! then i would turn him down. i mean, he doesn't have enough confidence to talk to me face-to-face. i hate talking on the phone or even e-mailing, i just like talking to people when they are right in front of me.

That happened to me. I still don't know who it was from - but I don't have any Nancy Drew tendencies and wouldn't have the slightest clue how to go about figuring out who put it there...
