You could write a paragraph of garbage n she'd still love it. If you really want that whole hallmark moment start with to the best mum in the world ,love you for (fill in with whatever you like) thank you for (fill in with something) and end with love from

Tell her what you told us... that even though you know you put her through a lot as a teen she's never failed to be there for you , or stopped loving you, and that its ment a lot. Let your heart guide you and don't be afraid to be sentimental us mothers like that :)

The best thing you could write would be something from your heart, something personal and meaningful between you and your mum. Only you can do this you dont need someone elses words to tell your mum how you feel.

O thats simple. Just think of all the things youve put her through (and this is not just YOU by the way, its all of us, we've all put our mums through stuff), then it will all flow easily. Doesnt even have to be a poem just something like 'Mum I loved you, I still love you and will always love you'...short and sweet :)

Why don't you let your mom know how you feel, she is not going to know unless you tell her??? Also, tell her many more!!! Take her out for lunch, spend some time with her, get to know her, she is a person too, just as much as you are. I'm sure that she isn't as evil as you once thought she was when you were a teenager. Have a good time with her!!!!

I like eddys' idea best about the gold ring -the symbol of eternal happiness. But you could write 'stop spending my inheritance' in the card!

I have another idea, how if you buy a gold ring. I think gold is symbol of 50th to hope long-liveness.
Give to her at her birthday and say "I will love you forever, Mom". (Kiss her hand, but it depends on your culture, Muslims always do that) and hug her. She will love you and pray for you.
