50 mg is not enough for me is 100 mg to much for a girl to take?

I do. How old are you? I tried when i was like 13 or 14 and it didn't work. Now I'm 28 and I take 50 mg it's fine. However my sister takes 100 -150mg. She is 24 or 25. Contact your doctor.

How old is the girl? Zoloft comes in 25, 50 and 100 mg. It does sound like you need a higher dosage or a different anti depressant.

If you're taking Zoloft for depression, you would do better to thoroughly learn cognitive therapy. Meds did very little to help my depression, including combinations like Paxil and Wellbutrin. I once was on three, but it still made very little difference. I became alcoholic and suicidal toward the end of my five year depression. After becoming hospitalized for a suicide attempt and subsequently enrolled in an outpatient program, I learned cognitive therapy. There's a book called "The Feeling Good Handbook" by David Burns MD (psychiatrist) that will teach you in a very logical and straightforward fashion exactly how to do it. I have been depression and drug free Since the Spring of 2005 thanks to this wonderful book.

Depends on what you dr wants
why is 50 not enough?
Try to get off the zoloft. Causes weight gain.
If you stay on make sure you dont miss a dose

i take zoloft 50 mg. i've been on it for a few years now. i've been doing well on it. however, the longer you take a medication such as zoloft, you may need to up the dose because your body develops a tolerance to it . you should ask your doctor before you "up" any medication.

lol, I take zoloft, and I take 50mg...100mg is way to much for a girl to take..it depends on your weight and other things too. I honestly think 50mg will work fine for you. But, how do you know it's not working for you.....explain what's going on??????

it depends on what your doctor said..whats "enough" for you might be unsafe ..
