if ur friend tells u not 2 go out with a girl then dat only means dat either ur friend's got a crush on her or he's just jelous dat u're d lucky 1 to be able 2 hang out with her. & if this discription doesn't match then there must be sumthing bad about dat girl that ur friend knows & so he might just be wanting to stop u from meeting her & stuff!!!

Ask him if he has a reason for it. Then, ask yourself if you really want to go out with this girl, what you would do to maintain the friendship with your friend. Maybe he likes this girl, too. Then, the rule is, hands off for both of you. (At least that was the rule when I was in school).

Find out why ur friend doesn't want u 2 go out wit her he may have gone out wit her and thinks she's not good 4 u
But if u like this girl go 4 her but let ur friend understand dat u still want 2 b friends wit him and go out wit her.

I guess you should ask them why not first. To be on the safe side befriend her first and see whats up. Maybe you could also do a little research yourself and ask around what they know about this girl...trust your gut feeling as well. If you do go out with her, take it slow just to be cautious.

Ask him/her to be honest with you.

If he is your trust worthy and best friend and there is some valid reason to stopping you...one should listen to his/her friend. but again its all up to you...why you are asking everyone ..and if on yahoo answers someone say Don't go...will you not go?
