It is unconstitutional to discriminate against a person based on religion. Changing the constitution to exclude Muslims would set a dangerous precedent. Having said that, I wish we could block all Muslims from coming into our country. It is a religion that suppresses women’s rights, teaches that murder will get you into heaven, and its leaders have sworn to convert or kill all infidels. In other words, anyone that does not share their belief should be killed. It is a religion that if fully realized would set back civilization at least a thousand years.

Why is it a question of Muslims? There's no reason to be afraid of Islam. From what I understand, the religion is supposed to be all about peace and love (like 99% of the religions on this planet). What you need to be afraid of is "crazy" religious people. (FYI - I draw a distinct difference between mentally handicapped and crazy. The latter is entirely your own fault). Every religion has some crazy people in it.

Trust me, anybody willing to die in a fiery plane crash and take innocent people with them just to make a point is crazy. I've always said "If your God is so great and so all-powerful, why does he need you to do his dirty work?" Typically crazy religious people latch onto that one part of their entire religious manual (Bible, Torah, Koran, what-have-you) that says they're the greatest thing since sliced cheese and everybody else is a jerk. Most books have that clause somewhere. Some egotistical, crazy person slid it in a few hundred years ago. And the person insisting on getting his way because his God says so is always ready and willing to ignore every part of the book that says his method is wrong. Your god really wants you to kill women and children? Really? That's what it takes to make him happy?

And before you (speaking in general terms) make some argument about the treatment of women or jihads I say to you simply...c'mon. Why can't women be priests? Haven't you ever heard of the Crusades? I'm off on a tangent again. Women get the shaft (to varying degrees) in everybody's religion and if you get a big enough group of "crazy" religious types together and convince them all they want (and deserve) something somebody else has, you'll get a war 99.999% of the time (my estimate has a .001% margin for error).

How many Muslim immigrants should be let in to the US annually? As many as it can economically support that as long as the person: 1) can make a net positive contribution to our society without turning our country into a sardine can, 2) is willing to adapt to our customs to a degree (you've gotta at least learn the language and recognize that you're not in the place that you left - if it was so great there, then why are you here?). What the US should keep out are the ones that are known affiliates with "crazy" / violent sects.

The U.S. should follow it's own immigration law and enforce it!

It is well written as it is and only lacks in the enforcement of the immigration and naturalization procedures. All applicants who learn the language, demonstrate loyalty, and respect all other Americans, are the best candidates for citizenship. All those who would try and destroy our great nation and dishonor the memory of our fallen hero's should leave.

Personally, I believe a moratorium on immigration would be in order until we as a nation have met the needs of our current population.

The United States does not ask any immigrant Legal or Illegal about their religon. The limitations is based on the country of origin. There is a set limit of legal status per country. It does vary from country to country.

If thier on the watch list as terrorists deny entry even into the untied states, but its against the law to discrimate based on race, religion, afflilation. If any applicant is a part of a terrorist orgainzation like HAMAS, or Hezobllah, AL Queda, deny them even a vacation visit to the untied states. The peaceful Muslims that are not a theart to society should be allowed in like other immigrants that quality.

I am not a religious person myself and i have no problem w' what religion people practice...except when it says they should kill me because i don't believe in theirs. That tends to be my cut off point..So, how do you know if they are nice peaceful Muslims or "kill the infidels" Muslims? I gotta go w' none, if for nothing else to than to make life seem simpler.

I don't think a person should be limited because of their religious beliefs. I do think we need to screen all people who come here ALOT better. Are you aware of how many legal immigrants who have come here and then committed crime? Many of them had gaping holes in their applications(like address, job, length of stay, history of criminal activity), and for that reason should have been denied, but they were not.
