It is possible that it may have something to do with the thrush. Check her feet thoroughly for anything that may be irritating her. Does she have shoes on? It is possible she may have twisted the shoe or have something caught between the shoe and her hoof.

I know plenty of horses that stamp their feet out of impatience, be at at feed time or when they want to go out in the field. Does she do it at any particular time of day or all the time?

She may just be fed up of being cooped up inside. Does she get turned out everyday? Horses should spend as much time outside as possible. If you can't turn her out in a field for any reason you could let her run loose in your arena for half an hour or so a day, it would be better than nothing.

Next time your blacksmith visits ask him to check her feet for any signs of problems such as corns and ask his opinion.

It doesn't sound like it is anything too serious, so I wouldn't call the vet out just for that, but do ask next time he is out if you are still worried.

Sometime horses do funny little things just because they can, there isn't always a reason behind it.

Try not to worry. Hope you solve it soon.

Hi, is your horse doing this all the time or is it when you get to the stable? Thrush in the foot normally only causes slight lameness and of course stinks. have you checked the rest of the leg for may be mites or other skin conditions such as mud fever? I'd call the vet and ask their advice. If she only does it when you get to the yard i could be that she is anticipating being groomed/fed or exercised.

my horse has had thrush before and it takes a long time to get over it so the hoof will smell bad and they will stomp for a long time after it is gone...be sure to not leave it in the barn for long periods of time because it will make the thrush come back...hope that i helped

Hi... has she stones in her hoof? It may just be a case of picking out an irritating pebble... you don't say where she had the thrush, if it's in her leg it may have started up again.

Fleas. See a vet. Or get a can of Raid.

I would have the vet come out and check her again. It sounds to me that something is irritating her.
