Now, im addicted to my workout routine.Just cant stop myself from working out.My friends advised me to give my body days to rest so that i can add more muscles and gain weight. But, seems like i cant stop myself from thinking of my 'sweet' dummbells.I even asked my roomate to hide it, but after 5 minutes i asked it back from him.
Im addicted coz im a Ectomorph body type person, which makes me hard to gain weight=muscles. But after a month of INTENSIVE training, i can now see the transformation of my body from ectomorph to mesomorph. That really motivates me to do more workout.HELP ME!!!
I cant even let myself sweating,if not, i will start thinking to do my exercise(push-ups etc.)
HELP ME!!
HOW CAN i STOP MYSELF? PLEASE GIVE SERIOUS ANSWER..

Been there, done that. I think, for me it was a way of over-compensating for a lack of self esteem or a sense of inadequacy. I was the proverbial skinny guy who became obsessed with working out probably for reasons not unlike the reasons for why girls sometimes starve themselves because of a poor body image. That being said, I would suggest what others have already said. Don't limit yourself to just lifting weights. If it's muscle you want, then you might just very well end up defeating the purpose. Try other things that strengthen you in different ways. My personal choices include martial arts, running and yoga type stretching in addition to body weight exercises for strength training and muscle gain. I realize that this doesn't really answer your question. I'm guess I'm just saying that if you're going to be an exercise junkie then you might as well be a well rounded one. People become addicted to various things because those given things seem to offer a positive reward. If this much is good then more must be better. It seems you are very much enjoying the benefit of your efforts and I congratulate you on your transformation, But if you're an insecure person attempting to solve the problem by creating muscles, you will probably end up being just an insecure guy with muscles. Keep your goal in mind and realize that too much of one thing is actually counter-productive which defeats the purpose. I wouln't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes we need to go to extremes in order to understand what it means to be balanced. So go ahead and give yourself permission to be that way for awhile, but do it with awareness. Consider it a learning process. Experience is the best teacher.

Eat a burger
Try an alternative way to workout like surfing and swimming
Don't give yourself any free time to sit around and loll or u'll try to fill it with working out

If you can't stop then try working different muscle groups on different days, so you don't overwork the same muscles and get hurt.

Take a deep breath and relax....your workout should not be daily...take a day or two off each week and you will see even BETTER results!
