Call your pediatrician. He or she will know better than us what to do for your daughter since they know her history and general health and we don't.

Pedialyte is the best thing for her. The milk is only gonna upset the stomach more. Being that she is only 4 months there isn't really much you can give her. Just make sure she stays hydrated with water or pedialyte or even clear liquids Apple juice, pear juice and white grape juice all watered down of course. You don't want her to become dehydrated. If she is eating anything yet then you can try giving her some rice baby cereal with a little bit of the water or juice mixed in it instead of the milk I wouldn't go with the oatmeal or other grains of cereal that would most likely cause her to have the runs were as the rice cereal will bind her and the juices will help push it out so she won't become constipated. I would also wipe down there bed rooms with disinfected cleaner and spray all toys with Lysol and or with bleach solution just some bleach and water mixed and let them air dry. If she should become worst or not any better in 3 days I would defiantly call the doctor. Hope this helps and hope the little one feels better soon. It's so sad to see them sick when they are this young.

A 4 month old baby vomits for many reasons. None of which will be found on a discussion board. I am sorry if this is a little harsh, however I am amzed that someone would look for advice from a discussion group for a sick baby as young as yours.

Please, please please, take the baby to the doctor. If the baby is vomitting every meal and is losing weight, forget the doctor, just go straight to the Emergency department. You can't wait a day. Babies condition can go critical very quickly. Equally, they can bounce back just as fast.

Discussion boards are not the place for this type of question.

If she's vomiting up ...don't give her milk!!! YUCK!!! Curdled milk?! EWWW!!! CALL her pedi and ask about pedi light~ or give her ice pops...but stop giving her milk/formula...if she has a stomach bug...that's going to be TOO heavy and it won't stay down...CALL her doctor and find out how much for her weight..it's usually only a few ouces of this liquid..it will put back the minerals and electros that she's losing when puking!! She won't dehydrate either with this..

Resort to the old standby BRAT diet-bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. I tried pedialyte with my kids but they hate it. Substitute watered down apple juice instead of milk. Milk can increase the amount of diarrhea that may occur with GI bugs. Saltines are also a good tummy settler.

Milk is the worse thing you can give cool boiled water only if it is a bug then milk will only make it worse as it feeds it, Also you need to call your gp
