Ok question here, say if somebody as murdered someone and they get trialed on earth, that person is then sentenced to 10 years for this crime (or life).

Just because that person has now served his/her sentence on earth, will the 'murder' still be sent to hell when they die, or have they already served their punishment? :/

Depends on wheather or not you believ in heaven and hell. As they say God forgives everyone so there might not even be a hell. Many say Earth is hell and when you die that's heaven.

No they will not go to Hell because there is no such place. Hell is a concept made up by man to frighten and empower the human race. The murderer will still go to Heaven (or Spirit World) but will have to face up to the responsibility of what he/she did. There is no punishment from God, we set our own punishment, God loves us whatever we do and forgives our sins providing we realise we have done wrong and repent.

It is not for man to determine what punishment God should give to someone that breaks His laws. Case in point, a drunk driver knocks over and kills a child. The court sentences him to 2 years in jail. Do you really think that God would consider that sufficient?

Point is, even the best of us is lousy with sin. There is not much to separate the "best" and "worst" of us. That is why we need Jesus. Only He could bear the punishment we rightly deserve.

A brilliant question!

Anyone who sins once - murder or otherwise will not get into Heaven - that is why we need Jesus. He died for our sins - anything we have done wrong - and served the punishment for us.

Now you only have to accept him as YOUR saviour (ask him into your life and say sorry and turn from your sins) and you will get into Heaven.

It's that simple why no give it a go?

i reckon everyone goes to heaven. What we are living in now is hell and whenwe die we go straight to heaven. Not all murderers are bad through and throught, its how life and the world has been to them, we were not born murderers and liers and rapists, the world makes us like it. They are victims in a way, but obviously they should know right from wrong and chose not to follow right from wrong but its cause they are fu!ked up in the head and they fucked up in the head cause the world made them like that. So to a degree they are victims. So i do reckon when it comes to heaven and hell only a minority will go to hell.

If they repent before they die, then they can go to Heaven. God's laws are different than our own.
