you never go out with one of friends ex's or there boyfriends that shows that you cant get one your own boyfriends and that you dont have any self pride and dignanity its never a good idea that starts so much drama and people will get the wrong idea about you like your friends might not trust you anymore because you stole your friends boyfriend. I had a crush on my friends boyfriends but i never took it far ever i kept my composer and kept my little crush thing to myself

Of course you can. This is life. Your friend isn't going out with him any longer. The only thing I would caution you about -- consider the reasons why they're not going out any longer. It may be that he's really not someone you would want to go out with. He might be fine as a friend, but maybe not so good as a boyfriend. If you're really worried about it, why not talk with your friend?

If i was you i would talk to your friend that dated this guy and ask her how she feels about you then you know for sure. Just let her know if she is a true friend that if she asks you not too you won't date him
