I am female. I now have a little hair on my bum crack - the pubic hair doesn't just get so far round and then stop you know. I do shave it when I do my 'bikini line'. I also do the line that grows from my pubic hair to my belly button and pull the few hairs that grow round my nipples out.

Sound revolting huh?

Well i got news for all the little girls out there - puberty never, ever stops. Hair keeps on cropping up in places you never knew you had until you die. For men it's ears and hair and stupidly long eyebrow hairs, for girls it spreads out form your pubic region until you feel like its taking over. Ha! Bet they never taught you that in personal development classes!

Of course its normal, everyone has body hair but some are darker than others so its more noticeable. I wouldnt let it bother you, if you want to approach the subject "crack" a joke - pardon the pun ! about her cute little fluffy bum but be nice about it !!

Me personally i get a brazilian every 6-8 weeks and it doesn't promote extra growth despite what others have said, it leaves you feelin exceptionally smooth and hairless (almost!) and when the hair grows back its not stubby but softer and thinner believe it or not ! shaving it would be a different and very itchy story !

Good Luck !

This is a sure sign of Griebaturism, very rare, but I have come upon it before, not here in England but while touring the Keys in Florida, one of the islands is called Marathon, there they have a family who are called the Griebats, this family have been inbreeding for close to three centuries, in some severe cased namely one in France shortly after the first world war, they hung Herbert Montaray Griebats, thinking him a monkey, sounds crazy I know. The condition of Griebaturism manifests itself by way of covering either parts or in rare cases all of the body. It appears your girlfriend only has it manifest between the cheeks of her derriere. I would suggest not considering building a family with her as the horror of bearing a chimp like child to be too much to bear. Lots of luck to you both.

I think it's normal. Each person has a different character and of course it goes the same for each individual body. Anyway, I believe it has something to do with the hormones in her body. Nothing wrong with her! Everybody has hairs and maybe some of us have hairs grown in different areas, just that no one says it out. If you're really concern, bring her to see a doctor then, instead of asking us on why and how to remove it!

I can't of course speak for other women, but I have never had the problem of a hairy bum.

You know what though, if you relationship is good in all other aspects (and you have been putting up with this for the past 2 years), can you just ignore it?

i have never thought about my bum crack cos i cant see it. just had a look in the mirror now and i cant see anything. If u have been going out with her for so long im sure u will find a tactful way of asking her about it. But if it doesn't bother u then i wouldn't say anything

Yeah, I've heard of that before, but I never knew a chick that got rid of it. If it's not hanging out of the crack, you shouldn't bother her about it. If she shaves or waxes it, when it starts to grow back, it will itch like crazy, and she will be very uncomfortable, unhappy....

It's not unusual for "hairy" persons :)

Personally, I never heard about waxing THAT... (nor shaving, which is worse as consequences)

The question is... does it matter to you? Will it affect your friendship? If the girl is cute, bright, fun to be with... then does it really matter?

shes obviousley made the mistake of doing it once and now its all over the place, yaya,im the same i done it now im stuck doing it every week, just so it dont get to hairy, better to wax,its easier less painful and feels better, its onlt normal because shes shaved/waxed only once and couldnt be bothered doing it any more,or she just naturally hairy,if she has hair on her back then its been their all the time, yeah we wax everything.EVERYTHING.
