Life is to celebrated, Death is to be mourned. Sometimes the problem with this is that Death is the only punishment that comes close to being right for killing other people. If the world were perfect, then we'd have a better punishment, but that's the best that can be done.

I agree with the others that death is not necessarily something to be celebrated just as it is not to be feared. It is a change. In my opinion, when someone is sentenced to death it is society's way of saying that we see no way for this person to change the way they are now and we must bring about change for the better of all. Hopefully the person in question will learn from this in the next incarnation or whatever afterlife they believe in.

Death is the punishment for sin, but Christ promises to reverse that penalty, for the faithful.

That's the only reason anyone might celebrate death.

death is not to be celibrated life is
death is not to be feared
teach your kids the joy of living ,loving doing well unto others
but also let them know in time that death is the great reunion
they shouldnt be made aware of death with out having it allready before them say when a pet or relitive dies ,not before
when they ask is soon enough
killing bad people is ignorant ,they dont get to repent or make correction of that ajudged evil ,but children must be allowed to be children too.

Death is only a punishment for those that are non believers. For those of us that believe it is a time to celebrate for we go home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Death, in and of itself is not a punishment. Death without the chance of resurrection to a paradise earth is.

Death is used for punishment by men, but God uses it as mercy. What men intend for evil God intends for good. God intends that each of us live to old age, having a rich life in his love. Men are sinners, however, and intend death as a means to get even. The law is punitive by nature. God is merciful by nature. Do not believe the lie that there is any mercy in the law because there is not. The law does not know how to forgive----it is not its nature to do so.

Its quite simple:

Death itself is not punishment... but release.
Pain is punishment.
A painful death makes for a terrible last experience...

But a contented death is a beautiful thing.
