Good Morning. I had a wonderful rest last night. And my next holiday is Yule. This is the darkest day of the year. The significance is that the Sun will now stay up longer...and the warmer days are coming. We usuall drink wassail, burn the yule long which we have kept all year, eat eat eat and eat. And meditate on the wheel of the year and how it effects us.

The feast of Christ the King before the first sunday of advent.
Here in the philippines, every parish conducts a dawn procession, with the mysteries of the rosary being recited, leading to the church and ending it with a mass.
I haven't attended it even once in my 22 years of being a Catholic because I'm still asleep at that hour.

As a Byzantine, the most recent important feast day was this past Wednesday. It was the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel and all Holy Angels. St Michael is revered (not worshipped) as Gods most powerful Angel, whos purpose is to protect mankind from the physical depredations of Satan and his minions. As a holy soldier of God, St. Michael holds a special place of reverence in the Orthodox and Byzantine churches. Not so much in the Latin (roman) church.

only a speedy bowl of Rice Krispies for me. I have had my weekly egg reduce. in view that i'm going decrease back to mattress and pancakes flow immediately for your hips even as slumbering they don't look an option both.
