apply curd and honey before u wash ur hair for soft hair.
Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!
1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.
2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:
* Beans
* Yogurt
* Almonds
* Vitamin B
* Fish
* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER
3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.
4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.
5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.
6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.
7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.
8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.
9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.
10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products

after shampooing put a conditioner in and leave it on your hair while you finish showering in-between take your nails and scratch your head with them (so that it feels good) what that does is stimulates the hair roots to make them grow (still leaving the conditioner on) (sometimes I rinse cond. then reapply it that helps to) when done showering, get a leave in conditioner put some on your really wet hair then wrap in a towel (your head is still warm from the shower plus the leave in cond.) It's kinda like a hot oil treatment but not so greasy, if you blow dry your hair? don't dry it out completely and dry the roots down not just the ends of your hair, If your use iron? and it's really hot, get a wet cool wash-rag and take the iron and cool it off! to much heat to the hair will burn it. then if you have a few frizzes still? use a dab on any-kind of conditioner (I even used hand lotion before) and a tiny tiny bit of water, rub hands together and litely pull the strands of hair that's frizzy softly with the cond. on your hands (to much will make your hair greasy) If you over blow dry your hair add some water with your hands to moisen your hair again, also brush your hair alot (optional I don't) my daughter did and her hair was like silk..PS hope this helps. It works for me. sunnydays

go to your local salon or order online this thing by redken called GLASS... put a couple of drops in your palm and smooth it through your hair to preferably wet hair.... i swear, when your hair dries it'll feel like the softest silkiest thing you've ever felt. you know how your hair feels super super soft after you cut it at the salon, well this is the thing that they use, and it works sooo good. i swear you wont be disappointed if you use it...

At the beauty supply, you can purchase a product called Proclaim Shine Gloss. Its exactly like Redken's gloss and I use it on myself as well as my clients with long hair. Its really a well rounded product, it can be used for shine, detangling, and as a thermal heat protectant.
Good luck!
