As much as people today don't want to admit it. Marriage exists to promote the primary social unit, the family. Children, a known result of sex, require a lifetime commitment.
Life is a lot easier when the commitment really comes before the children.

Premarital sex is discourage because God calls us to purity. He designed sex to be a beautiful natural thing we share between our spouse. Every time a person has sex with someone who is not their own, they are breaking a very sacred thing. I should know. My husband, had a relationshi[ with someone prior to us dating. And the other day we were talking about how unfair it is for me. He was my first and so I have this "Special Bond" with him. But he doesnt have that exact same thing for me, cuz his bond is with another girl, cuz she was his first. Premarital sex offers nothing more than possible heartbreaks, if you breakup, and possible pregnancy scares. And it wasnt meant for people to use whenever on whoever. It was made for huband and wife to share their love for each other in an very intimate way. Not for toys and dirtiness.

By readingthe Bible you will find that the act of having sex or making love is the act that binds the two people man and woman and they become one flesh. that is all there used to be for the marriage ceremony for two people to be married. So yes it should be abstained from until marriage.

Sex is not just a physical act. It is a spiritual act as well. We are helping our Creator
to create LIFE!
There are real spiritual energies at work during sex. It creates a spiritual bond, that
if broken, will create a karmic debt, that will have to be atoned for later.
Also, people who engage in lusty sex, for the bestial nature of sex, actually
create negative energies. That pollute our world , and the spirit world.

Because many people leave that the process of making love should only be done to pro-create and you need to be in a stable relationship before this can happen.

because they want to control you in some way. If sex was only to procreate then why is there birth control needed. No, they felt guilty for having these feelings and had to cover them up somehow to make them just! ( please you know they were having sex for pleasure as well) Sex is a natural thing. It was made to not only procrate, but to be enjoyable and one should not have to deny these feelings what so ever....

Because if everyone waited, then there would be no STD's, fewer extramarital affairs and no children born out of wedlock.
Many religions encourage what is best for society as a whole, or what is best for mankind.

Oh i don't know , probably prevention of STD's, prevention of unwanted pregnancies, continuation of marriage/sex as a way of having children, not only for pleasure.

Sex is supposed to be sacred. Unfortunately our society today doesn't care what is sacred or not anymore and just does whatever it wants.
