Tomorrow we celebrate Veterans day. This is our time to remember those who have fallen and those who serve and have served our country (USA).

No one wants war. No one wants to see the killing and the horrors of wartime. But our service men & women answer the call of duty and serve their country.

So, politics aside, please honor a Veteran tomorrow with a smile and a kind word. God bless.

This is my first Veteran's day without a loved one who died in Iraq. My thoughts and prayers will be with her and her family at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month. This Veteran's Day is dedicated to all those who never got to celebrate a Veteran's Day as a Veteran and those who never will but will die protecting those who can't protect themselves.

God Bless America!

A lot of people can't remember their own spouse's birthday. I'm not surprised they forget which holidays are which, especially when they're very similar (the main difference being Memorial Day is mostly specifically for veterans who were killed or died during wars). I guess I can't say anything, as I used to have problems remembering which holiday was Memorial Day and which one was Labor Day.

Where would we be without them protecting our freedom from within or outside the country.
It is better to have freedom than peace and it is paid for with a price.
By our military heroes.
We need to honour their sacrifices every day not just on veterans day..
Take care and God bless America!

Nothing is stopping anyone from visiting a Vet tomorrow to thank them in person.

Find a Veterans Home in your area and pay them a visit.

It would mean the world to them.

Good for you. I couldn't have said it any better. It is very important that we honour those who have or are currently, fighting for good and freedom. I will be thinking of my grandparents.
