Okay. first of all, websites that can help - mandy.com, talentcircle.com, ukscreen.com all have UK auditions, also get the Stage newspaper. When signing up with casting agencies dont pay a fee, the ones that demand upfront fees are usually scams. Get in touch with local arts organisations, see if they have any contacts, contact your local theatres as well, and also get in with local amateur groups - sometimes (more than once in my experience) professionals will contact them to look for people.
