Yes, God sent people to teach me and show me the ways of the Lord. I was practicing wicca and reading tarot cards, etc. I often wondered if I was doing the right thing. One day I prayed to God and asked him to show me the right way if I am not meant to be reading cards and practicing wicca. Within a week or so, my brother-in-law called me and asked me to go to a friends with him that he wanted me to meet. I went there and to make a long story short, I met some very nice Christian people who talked to me and told me about how being in the practice I was in will only ruin my life and my afterlife. They gave me a very nice Bible and talked to me about God. Shortly after that we burned all my wicca books and tarot cards, then a short time later I became a born again Christian. This is the best decision I ever made in my life, and YES I truely believe that all this was the work of God in my life.

Where do I start ? My wife. I waited until I was in my mid 20's. I had the opportunities earlier, but after prayer I knew that the time wasn't right. We have been married 14 years and 4 beautiful kids.

How about the time I was working the midnight shift at a store ? I was having the worst day and didn't sleep. I was so down and depressed and I prayed. I said that I couldn't make it by myself and needed help bad. Well a girl came into the store and basically swept me away. We dated for 4 months I guess but the point was, that I had prayed and she came out of nowhere to put the smile back on my face.

Or how about the night that I felt compelled to write in my journal when I was 19 yrs old about DEATH ? Nothing specific, just about who might miss me, would I have made a difference, etc. I wrote for several pages, a long entry for me. Well the next day I got a phone call that 1 of my better friends had died in an auto accident. Was that entry preparing me for what was going to happen ? Well there is more. We were good friends, but didn't share the same friends, so when he died, I was alone. I was lost. The next day at work, an ex girlfriend called me up at the exact same time that I was going to the other phone to call her. I had treated her bad and I really hated to call her and open up. We had ended a bit bitter. So it was amazing that she called me before I called her. We went to the funeral together but after it was over, she had to go to see her boyfriend, so there I was alone and hurting again. Well, who should just randomly stop by but another friend that we shared. He too was a bit confused, so we hung out for awhile.
We went out to a mall. There was a girl walking around that caught my eye. We ended talking and eventually going out for 6 months.
I don't know if I am expressing myself very well, but I have never doubted that it was the Good Lord working in my life and answering prayer.
I could talk forever about things that have happened and prayers that were answered. But not now.
