I do have some atheist friends.

I think atheists are people of great faith.

They believe the entire wonderful universe came into being all by itself from the smallest subatomic particle to the the most immense galaxy to the amazing complexity of the human mind.

Even if they do not believe in God, I do know that God believes in them.

With love in Christ.

Athiests are people the same as everyone else. It should not be for anyone to judge or define a person simply because there is some sort of label been placed by whatever or whoever.
Each religion should take on the live and let live mantel.....not label not bigot in mind.
Free will is a God given choice to be respected.

I'm not a Catholic but I do believe in Jesus and his teachings so that is kind of close. Most of my friends are atheists or agnostic, I don't have any problems with this.

why just catholics?

Yes I am sure they do. one thing about faith is accepting that you might be wrong otherwise you are deluding yourself as to the nature of reality or its not a religion so I expect the would have atheist friends just like they would have prodestant, jewish or other friends

they may even have friend that are divorced
do you not know any catholics?
or is it you have no friends
