If heaven does exist ... why can repenting murders and rapists and pervert get in purely because they have repented .

And at the same time people who have not commited terrible things upon others but just dont beleive in God have to burn in hell .

Doesnt that seem unfair

The truth is, none of us are good enough to get into Heaven by the standard of our own righteousness. In fact, on God's scale, there is not much difference between the best of us and the rapists and perverts you mention. We are all guilty of sin, it is just that society has this artificial scale which is nothing like what God uses. For instance, children that refuse to obey their parents are breaking a commandment which stands alongside theft and murder. That's how God sees it, but do we see it in the same way?

As I said, even the best of us are filthy with sin. But, God doesn't want us to stay that way. He wants ALL of us to have Eternal Life. That includes the rapists and perverts you mentioned. However, to gain Eternal Life, they must not stay that way.

First of all, we must examine ourselves and see all that darkness we keep inside, sometimes hidden from the outside world. All that hatred, disobedience and selfishness. All that stuff that makes us want to do things our way, that makes us think we are the only important people in the world and everyone else is there for us to use. Once we are ready to face this, we are forced to accept that there is nothing we can do about it. No matter how much we try, we always come back to our true, despicable nature. There is no way we are good enough for Heaven.

God had a dilemma. He doesn't want any person to go to Hell, but we are all sinful, so we deserve Hell. His justice says our sin needs to be punished. So what did He do? He punished HIMSELF!!!! God, as Jesus Christ, came to Earth, the only sinless man that has ever been, and allowed Himself to be executed unjustly. Now, I do not know all the mechanics of it, but Jesus was punished for every sin of every person that has ever or will ever live.

That means that, whatever wrong we have done, no matter how trivial or major, Jesus has taken the punishment for it. God's justice is satisfied.

But we are not robots. This calls for a choice on our part. We can admit to our own guilt, turn our back on our old way of life, accept Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf, be baptised, filled with The Holy Spirit and live a life obedient to God. We will then gain Eternal Life.

However, if we refuse what Jesus has done, or we claim to accept it and refuse to obey Him, still carrying on as we have always done, then, when we stand before God, not only will we have to accept punishment for what we have done, but also the fact that Jesus was punished for us and we rejected it.

Ernest77 answered very well. You brought up unfair. We are all given the same chance at salvation. That is fair. God never promised that life on earth would be fair or easy if you followed him. I believe that Jesus said the opposite, that there would be many trials and tribulations.
I am unsure if in fact if some sins would indeed bar a trip to heaven. Jesus said to '' ask, and we shall receive. Seek, and we shall find. Knock, and the door shall be opened unto us ''. He asked for 1 basic thing. That we believe in him and commit to him. Deeds were not a requirement.
As for the hard sins and still getting to heaven, the only one who truly knows if the repentance is real is GOD. If that person didn't mean it when they repented, then they will get their just due. If you don't believe, then you will never get the chance.

God's desire for all people was to live on the earth forever.
Heaven was never an option.

Again it's all those nutty christian religions that think all good people go to heaven.

For all those who believe that they will end up in heaven I have this question for you.
What are you going to do when you get there?

The bible states all those who have a heavenly course will be kings and priest part of a government. Ruling over whom? Those on the earth.

In the book of revelation it states that the number of people going to heaven is 144.000.

Its a sealed number. Most are already there. No perverts or bad people were chosen.

As for the rest of us we are going to live on the earth.....forever

God never changed his original plan.
The war of god is on its way and everyone will have to chose what side there on.

Next time a Jehovah's witness knock at your door ask him/her these questions he/she can show you straight from the bible even explain why God permits suffering and why the world is in such a bad state right now. :o)

If it were easy, even the intelligent ones would believe in Jesus. But you imply it is in his existence rather then in his accomplishments. Jesus died carrying all the sins of mankind of all time, was buried in a grave but arose victorious over death and the grave. why is this important? He provided a path back to God and he is the only one who knows the path. You on the other hand want to compete to show they world you can best others so that you gain access to this most precious of gifts. That would give you bragging rights but where is God in your scheme. Paul tells us about you. He say by "grace through faith we are saved, not of works lest any man should boost." Look folks, I did it myself, for beat the world champion of Chess, or Sudoku or Tennis or whatever. That would put maybe a hundred in heaven but what of those who lost. Instead of giving you bragging rights, God gave his son. His son beat all odds, he beat the best Satan had to offer in every score and in every scheme. Then being the loving person he truly is, he offers his trophy to you and to me and all those who would have been left behind in your scheme, a free gift of life and the path to God the Father. I like his way better.

The heavens were created by God which is the throne of God

Read the verses from the Holy Bible
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:8
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Genesis 2:1
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
Acts 7:49
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

People who live according to the will of God will be in heaven. God will resurrect them like angels of God in heaven.

Read the verses from the Holy Bible
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 8:11
And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 12:50
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:4
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 22:30
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Mark 12:25
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

So do not worry or think about these matters. God will complete the job as per his will, for Good of all.

Read the verse from the Holy Bible
Romans 10:6
But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

May God bless you. In Jesus name. Amen

Jesus said He who is without sin cast the first stone. To God no sin is greater than another, their all equal. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, therefore if you repent, ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart, you'll go to heaven. Nobody can judge another persons sins, only Jesus can do that. It is only by the Grace of God that we are forgiven.

If you study any religion you will notice that they all contradict themselves, and in the process making it impossible for anyone to go to heaven. Religion is a man made idea, Primitive men..why would it be fair?

Did the Apostle Paul Expect to Go to Heaven?
"For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you" (Philippians 1:23-24).
Is Paul saying in these verses that he wants to depart from earth and be with Christ in heaven? What did he mean when he expressed his desire to be with Christ?
Before focusing on what this scripture says, let's notice what it does not say. It does not say when or where Paul would be with Christ if he departed. Nor is there any reference to heaven in these verses. To conclude otherwise is to read assumptions into Paul's words.
When writing to the Philippians, Paul was struggling with two desires. He wanted to depart this life and be with Christ, but he also wanted to remain with God's people. In his second letter to Timothy he speaks dogmatically; he knows the end of his physical life is near, and he is ready to depart: "For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing" (2Timothy 4:6-8).
Here we learn what Paul means by being "with Christ." He understood that he was not to receive his reward immediately at death. Instead, there was laid up for him
a crown of righteousness that he would be given "on that Day" of Christ's appearing, at Jesus' second coming. As Paul noted, Jesus will bring Paul's reward with Him. Paul will receive it at that time, not before, along with all others who will be resurrected at Christ's return.
"Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him" (Isaiah 40:10; see also Revelation 22:12).
Paul explained to the Corinthians: "Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
Paul knew he would receive his reward at Christ's coming: "For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad" (2 Corinthians 5:10).
The time from Paul's death until his resurrection will seem to him but a mere moment. He will be with Christ and will be a glorified son of God in the next moment of his consciousness. No wonder Paul, weary of his sufferings in this life, desired to depart and be with Christ.
