I posted a question earlier this evening, but I wanted to ask again, because I noticed some more things:
My 6 month old Jack Russell has had very watery diarrhea all night (It's been getting progressively more watery over the past few days, but tonight it has basically been urine). I didn't notice any blood) He also threw up twice yesterday.. His gums are normally a very healthy color, but are almost white. His nose is very cold and wet. He had his booster shots last Friday. He's been going between very lethargic to less lethargic tonight. I've been trying to give him water all night, and he did eat a bit, so he has an appetite. I'm going to take him to the vet w€hen it opens in three hours, but is there anything else I can do for him here? I don't have rice, an d don't want to leave him alone so I can go to the store.

That puppy is very ill is there not a 24hr or emergency vet you can take him to? you need to keep him quiet and try giving him a little water through a clean syringe with no needle. Dont let him get dehydrated. He might have something called Billary and that can be fatal. I dont want to sound negative but he sould have been taken to the vet when he first got sick, you might not be able to save him.
Good Luck

What, if any, diagnostics were done? I don't think that going to a new vet is the answer. I would go back to the original vet because they are most familiar with the case. It is unfair to assume that this vomiting episode is a continuation of the last one and that it is the vet's fault. Particularly if the vomiting had stopped for 10 days. If you brought this case to me, I would repeat a fecal, do some bloodwork, and take radiographs to check for obstructions. The fuzz in the vomit makes me think that a foreign body could be the fault. Hypoglycemia, which is common in these little guys, can also cause vomiting.

Take this pet to the vet asap,or in the meantime take away all food and water and only give it the non flavored baby pediolyte,as it will dehydrate very rapidly, you may have to force feed it,but it is very important to get as much as possible down your pet. Also give it some pepto bismol, anout a 1/3 of a teaspoon every 4 hours,as this will help coat its' intestines. In order to survive your pet may have to be hospitalized and adminstered IVs for a few days.Try boiling some chicken, cut in small pieces and puree it in a blender with some of the broath off of the chicken.,most pets will eat this when nothing else.

The best thing to do is not give your puppy anything to eat until his diarrhoea has dried up and keep plenty of fresh water in his bowl. As soon as you get to the vet he will best advise you but sometime as dogs are greedy by nature they will eat if theres food there for the sake of it making you think he's hungry/has an appetite. Only if they are very very ill will they not eat so don't worry too much.

Try some fresh vegies that are in the fridge, take you dog off what he is eating. Relax the stomach and the bowels. Vet may give a course of antibiotics. So fingers crossed I have a labrador so I do understand

I don't really have an answer. But yes it is good that you are taking him to the doc. I wish the best for your puppy and hope he gets better. Let me know what the vet's diagnosis is. Our pets are almost like our children and we worry about them and so I hope he is OK.

Keep him warm, and try to get him to eat a little and try again with the water. I'd suggest you leave him to sleep but try giving him fluids every hour or so.
I'll be thinking of him

Sounds like it could be a possible bowel obstruction. Get him to the vet ASAP
