i in my opinion imagine that the decrease the intelligence of someone, the further likely they're to lean on faith as an reason behind existence's mysteries. the better the intelligence, the further able someone is of know-how extra summary thoughts. to boot, many religions inspire lack of know-how and discourage questioning which perpetuates a closed attitude and a mistrust of knowledge that doesn't come from the church. i don't believe of religion makes people dumb, purely that faith is more convenient to settle for if you do not favor to imagine.
