If a guy wants to take things further with you (sexually) and you say no, but he still contacts you to meet up with him, is he really interested in you or is he just holding out until you give him what he wants?

Depends on the guy. No way of saying for certain. I'd say if it was only for the sex he'd probably go somewhere where he stands a better chance of getting it but on the other hand maybe he sees it as a kind of challenge and is holding out, as you say, until you give him what he wants.

Therefore I'd suggest that until or unless you are entirely sure and happy he is with you for the right reason(s), then do NOT give him what he wants and certainly not until YOU are ready!!

Only time will tell... Maybe he does genuinely enjoy being in your company and is not just waiting to see if he can get you into bed... but only time will tell, my advise - stick to you principles if you do meet up with him because you can never be sure of his intentions; If he's only in it for the sex he wont stick around for very long.

If he keeps trying and you keep holding out, it could be that he feels you are worth waiting for, or he could feel like you are a conquest. You keep your eyes and ears open and learn from what you know and see about his past/present behavior with other girls. Good luck.

He should not have asked for sex in the first place. That is your decision when YOU are ready!

Only you have a chance at answering that question. What's your intuition telling you?
