Dont you think there must be a one standard in our religion, the Bible? If so, then what is the meaning of Revelations 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.", Or Revelations 22:14" Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
So again I ask you, one God, one faith, one baptism, isnt this what the Bible teachess? Then wich day do you keep holy and worship, Sunday, or the Sabbath? Do you think its going to matter wich day we keep if the Bible clearly tells us to obey Gods commandments, all of them, even the 4th: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. ???

Yes it does matter.
We know for certain that Saturday is the seventh day of the week because a clear record has been preserved by both historic Christianity and the Jews. After the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple in the first century A. D., the Jews left the holy land and settled in lands all over the known world. Wherever they were found, they were found observing the same weekly cycle. It is conceivable that one Jew might wake up one Saturday morning and think it's Friday, but it is not at all believable that a whole nation scattered all over the world could make that mistake. So, clearly, there is no doubt at all as to which day is the seventh and which is the first. Time has not been lost!
In addition, we know from the writings of the earliest church fathers that there was a clear distinction between Saturday and Sunday. Some Christians observed both days, acknowledging that the former was the creation Sabbath, or seventh day of the week, the day all the Jews observed. Sunday was called the "first day" and sometimes called the "eighth day," since it was the day after the seventh day, or weekly Sabbath.
It is true that in Europe there has been an effort to make Monday the first day of the week, but our calendar still has Sunday as the first day of the week. Monday is considered the first day of the work week, but not the first day of the normal calendar week.

In Revelations 14:12 You are looking at both Jew & Gentiles, The Jews has the commandments of God & Gentiles has the faith of Jesus. In Rev. 22:14 You are looking at CHRISTAINS AS A WHOLE rather Jew Or Gentile, The Commandment of god, Is Much more than the 10 commandments, As far as a Sabbath, My rest is in Jesus Christ, If you want to litteraly keep a cretain day of which we are not required Apostle Paul told the Gentiles you bring your tithes & offerings into the storehouse on the 1st day of the week (SUNDAY), If you try to keep a certain day Then NOTHING whatsoever can be done on the sabbath, You can not fix your meals or anything, I think Jesus set a Very good example of the Sabbath law when he pluck corn on the Sabbath against the Jewish law, & also healed on the sabbath, again against the Jewish law, I seem to Think that Jesus was telling people, That He came to fulfill the Law

quote:
===============================
The 7 post-resurrection appearances of Christ show that Jesus purposefully chose the first day of the week to meet with His disciples to encourage and exhort them. The evidence shows that five of these appearances occurred on a Sunday, the first day of the week. We do no have a record of what the actual day on which the other appearances (John 21 and Acts 1:6-10) occurred to His disciples. What we can say with accuracy is this, after Jesus' resurrection whenever He met with His disciples and the day is identified, it is NOT the Sabbath, it is the first day of the week!
1). To Mary, On the morning of the resurrection -- Matthew 28:8-10; Mark 16:9; John 20:11-18
2). To two disciples going to Emmaus -- Luke 24:13-33; Mark 16:12-13
3). To Simon (Peter) -- Luke 24:31-35.
4). To the eleven disciples on the evening of Resurrection Sunday - Mark 16:14-18;
Luke 24:36-44; John 20:19-23
5). To the Eleven disciples "Eight days later" -- John 20:26-29
Pentecost happened on the first day of the week! The Church was born on the first day of the week! That doesn't make Sunday the Sabbath, it just tells you that after the resurrection of Jesus, the Sabbath is not emphasized.
When a day is mentioned in connection with the appearances of the risen Lord Jesus, it is always the first day of the week. Look at the extremely important events that occurred in the life of the first followers of Christ on the first day of the week.
1). Jesus startled them by appearing to them on the first day (John 20:19).
2). Jesus received worship from Thomas (John 20:27-28).
3). Sunday evening Jesus took bread and blessed it and broke it and gave it to His disciples evidently like He had in instituting the communion meal (Luke 22:19) and their "eyes were opened and they recognized Him" (Luke 24:31).
4). Sunday evening Jesus blessed His disciples twice saying "Peace be with you" (John 20:20; 26).
5). That same Sunday evening Jesus "...breathed on them and said, 'receive the Holy Spirit'" John 20:22.
6). On Sunday evening Jesus gave His disciples the ecclesiastical authority to proclaim forgiveness to those who believe in Him through the Gospel (John 20:23).
NOTE: Why did the Disciples meet on Sunday?
1). Because it now carried a special symbolic/anti-typical significance for them
2). Even if it didn't and was by chance, -- Jesus still chose to reveal Himself to them only on Sunday, when we know what day it is. That must also hold some kind of Divine significance.
3). Jesus could have chosen to meet with His disciple on the Sabbath. This would have clearly set a New Covenant precedent. He did not chose to do this. The Sabbath was the sign of a fulfilled covenant (see Exodus 31:17 and Hebrews 8:13).

The sabbath(Shabbat) is from one hour before sundown on Fri until the same time Sat. It got adjusted to Sunday under emperor Constantine, the first roman emperor to "convert". Unfortunately, Constantine was too used to sun worship which is why Sunday (SUN day) came to substitute the Lord's Sabbath in the original church: to keep Constantine's patronage. I think G-d cares more about the intention and your heart than he does about a specific day, but if you want to be sure, keep the sabbath-which I am personally more comfortable with.

Why attempt to do what the bible says when you obviously can't understand what it means?
None of the old commandments, laws, or statutes are in effect any longer.
They never saved anyone anyway. Only grace in Christ can do that.
The church Jesus personally founded is the faith authority for the new covenant ... not the old law ... and certainly not the bible.
The only commandments that truly exist today are those which the church decided to readopt and readapt to the realities of the new covenant.
If it wasn't for the church, every time we worshipped Jesus, we would be breaking the old first commandment.
Wake up!

According to the Bible, what matters most is your soul and not your religious activities. The most important thing in Christianity is repentance from sin and believing in the saviourship of the Lord Jesus Christ. As for other religious observances, they shall pass away at the coming of the Lord

The Sabbath belongs to our Heavenly Father. It is the only commandment that He tells us to remember. If it is that important to Him, how much more important should it be to us?

As long as we accept Jesus as our saviour and repent all of our sins and become born again Christians and saved, we can keep anyday Holy, although I keep Sunday as my Holy day. Just live by God's ways and you will be just fine.
