Best diet for Pancreatitis -which is - recipies anyone?

I'll tell you what my mum used to eat when she had that: plain pasta, no sauce or cheese, light meat (like veal fillet or chicken, no fat-no spices etc). That's pretty much it, really, with small variations. Some mashed potatoes sometimes, you get the idea.

When you have Pancreatitis you aresupposed to take nothing by mouth or just clear liquids. And for sure no alcohol

When I had pancreatitis, they would not allow me to have anything by mouth, was given IV fluids. I was in so much pain, I did not want anything to eat or drink.
