Report it to the credit card company at once. They will cancel your card and issue you a new one with a new number. if someone else found it and used it, the card company can hold you responsible only for the first $50 of unauthorized charges. Some company's will wave it.

Call up the company immediately to block it. Then you need to submit a written request as well. You also need to lodge an FIR. Overall, it will give you lot of headache until you get your next bill and find that it has not been misued.

Report it stolen immediately. Check your balance and check with company and statement for any irregular payments. If you have online banking. Check it.
