I believe that u don't have to share all the things and all your everyday happenings with the loved person. It's better to have u'r little secrets. Not big important things but small things that u want to keep just for urdelf. The email password doesn't seem like a very big deal. Yes, it is a matter of trust to share the password but if you u wanna cheat you may create another email account and have all your "other" emails received there. And no one else has to know about it. So I guess you can trust anyone 100% but find out one day u were wrong, u were very easily cheated. So trusting one another depends on bigger things than the email password.

I think if you are in a relationship and are in love and you have nothing to hide what is the problem. My man wants to know everything I do where I go, when I will be back, why didn't I answer my phone when he called, what was I doing that I didn't answer my phone, tells me I should carry my phone with me even when I go outside or upstairs and put it on my clip so I can get to it easily, who I talk to and other stuff. On the other hand he doesn't want to share all of that stuff with me, if I'm in the kitchen when he is on the computer he thinks I am watching him and he wants his privacy, why if HE has nothing to hide. I am also getting really tired of this behavior, break the habit now before it's to late. I wish you both luck and God Bless.

I feel we all need a bit of space and privacy. I never read my wife's email or text messages and neither does she mine. There are no real secrets between us, but things do happen which migh cause emotional trauma and stree to your partner. I generally do not discuss issues that I feel are better left unsaid.

I take it she is not married to this guy right? If not' then what she does on her computer is none of his business. Same goes for her. She has her private life' He has his. When you get married that changes you become 1. You work together and hide nothing from each other.

Privacy exists in dating as it does in marraige, everyone is entitled to some privacy, thats one of the reasons I divorced my wife, as she couldn't stop poking through my private papers, interfering with my mobile phone,
You have a right to Privacy, so does he, but neither of you have the right tgo invade each others privacy!

Well honestly I show my girlfriend just about everything. I don't have any secrets, and neither should she. If I keep somethings from her or she keeps something from me then we'd distrust each other more.

It's her choice! You can't change the way she feels. Maybe when this fails because he misunderstands something that he reads and he breaks her heart, she won't do it next time.
