first make sure the scope mounts are matched as a set
then check to see that they are mounted properly to the base
also check that the scope base is properly mounted and is the correct type for your gun
if all is good cut up an aluminum can and try shimming the scope inside the rings
cans typically are .005 thick
you may use up to 2 pieces
cut the aluminum to fit exactly to the size of the rings and shim the bottom half of the ring where the scope sits in it
while you have the scope off check carefully to assure that the scope tube is not bent
this happens when people dont set the scope in the rings and over tighten the screws

What kind of gun is it on?
It could be a number of things, if you want a quick fix, shim the
scope. Cut a piece of aluminum can and make a small strip
the width of the ring and put it on the rear ring of the mount.
If the gun still shoots high put another piece on. That should fix it.

remove your scope from the gun make sure all the screws are tight on your scope mount re attach the scope if any screws are loose it will knock your scope out of alignment
