how does looking for poetry about young girls make me seem dirty?

how can i get off over poetry??? its strange. Im looking for poetry about preteen girls for an assignment in which i have to analyse poetry and other texts relating to a set societal group. I chose preteen girls cos i know alot of them, ie my younger sister and see them often. I'd just like to know how asking for this makes me seem dirty, seedy, creepy etc????
