I've got a pair of nearly brand new shoes (bought within the last three months) and the insoles that came with the shoes have been ripped out by wear. I bought replacement insoles for them, but I'm having trouble keeping them in place. I've tried super gluing them down inside of the shoe, but found out the hard way that the glue only soaks through to my finger tips. Does anyone have any tips to keep the replacement insoles from sliding around during wear?

i've had your problem a lot of times. Fist of all you have to choose your insoles very carefully. I love babyphat insoles-they are a bit bigger than the shoe itself and wrap you feet-every toe knows it's place. they are lovely and they never slide. choose insoles that are thicker at the ends and that folow the arc of your feet. buy ones that are rough rather than smooth. Sillicon is a very good material for insoles-it sticks to its place and you can easily wash them.

Try this website; www.orthaheel.com

I recently bought a pair of orthaheel regular soles, which can be fitted into any flatted shoe. They are very comfortable and can be bought at any unity pharmacy at about $49+. If you are aged 50 or 55 and above, you are entitled to a 5% discount. Try the soles for fit first.

Go back to the place that you bought the shoes from; innersoles should not wear out in three months. Apart from that, you could try a boot maker (person who repairs shoes) if available in your country.

I honestly don't know about fixing insoles that come with your shoes.
BUT, I am a nurse and I have high arches and wear full length spenco insoles. They are worth every penny+.
Good luck!
