I don't think someone can forget, but the best thing to do, is to remember the good times and move on. Life is too short to dwell of things like that. If you are happy within, happiness will follow you where you go !

hi , so sorry for your pain- it hurts like nothing else...I am almost 3 years on from something similar with a best friend who became love who dumped me after 4 years....Apparently it is healthy to let yourself feel the pain- sortof diving into it in order to reach the other side of it- its not a quick way and its very scary- you think you are going to drown in it and die from the pain in your chest. Sometimes anti-depressants can numb you somewhat but not a permanent solution- more like a rest from the agony for a while....Sorry it does get better....truly the best answer is getting very busy...my fave quote is "action is the enemy of thought". Keep a journal of some sort or write poetry about it..look backwards at your progress-its the only way to see that you have made progress and one day you will realize that you haven't cried 7 times in a day then down to once a day and then once a week...and so on and so on...and then if you are lucky and you have let yourself heal enough someone may come along and make the pain go forever...I wish you well... apparently succeeding in getting happy again is the greatest revenge..(I'm in the busy phase-so cant tell you if true or not) Try to keep your dignity if you can and don't listen to sad songs while driving- it could kill you- and l'm only thinking about the tears that blind you as you listen!!

the word "he is my bestfriend" says that you are still bestfriends. You cannot erase somebody important to you. He will always be a friend to you forever. Like it happened to me just 4 days ago. She was recently my latest ex but we agreed that we can only be as bestfriends. Though we are still struggling with our feelings right now, I know it will pass away.

But the decision is still in your hands. Just follow your heart. God Bless!

You never do. If he has been such a good friend and there is a problem you need to work it out. Good friends are hard to come by. As for the rest time really does heal all wounds.

You just have to open your heart and accept what happened between you two. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be... Don't worry someone will come along, you just have to wait.

Enjoy Life... You'll never know what the tide may bring... :D

He means all the world to you. But you are not the whole world to him.
And if you have no ideas to have him hugged to you forever, then that is one reason for you to forget him.

He loves you. Why would you ask this question? But yet you forsake him... he has been your "best friend" for 6 years.
My question is this: How can you be so heartless?
Answer: Make amends. Be honest. Share your heart and feelings.

He loves you.

You can only bear the pain & go on with your life. Dont think about him by keeping busy. Hopefully you will get over it soon.
