I had 5 Extractions. the Dentist and I thought I would be able to return to work in 5 work days (My job title requires lots of talking with the customer). Instead I could not return to work for 3 weeks instead. Because while I was sadated she pull one of my tooth which had and abcess (I heard her tell her assistance). Now she refuses to fill out my insurance papers. Even though she scheduled to see me two weeks later and said my gum was still very sore and inflammed where the abcess was.

it is possible that she did not realize that there was an abscess on that tooth, until she pulled it. That you needed 5 extractions tells me that you have neglected your dental health, that is not your dentists fault! why do you say she is refusing to fill out insurance papers, did she actually tell you that she was refusing? the office staff normally does this not the doctor. how soon you would be able to return to work also depends on how well you heal, are you a slow healer?, a diabetic? its unfortunate that you missed 3 weeks of work, and i certainly sympathize with you about that, but i am not sure if you have a legitimate complaint.

It is very difficult to make any sense out of what you wrote. Perhaps you could add more details?

It's always best to try to resolve your complaint with the provider FIRST, before going to an attorney or disciplinary board. Try talking in a reasonable way with the dentist - ask her to explain what changed during your procedure and why your healing time has not gone as expected.

I have no idea what you mean by: "she refused to fill out my insurance papers."

complete Oral assessment and grownup Prophylaxis= a cleansing basically in complicated dental and insurance words! they'd't only call it a cleansing they'd desire to furnish it some complicated call only like docs have "scientific" words for each thing. additionally, with regards to the x-rays, it somewhat is a very known technique taken a million time in line with 12 months. it somewhat is extremely ordinary for a clean affected person getting into an place of work to have x-rays taken in order that the dentist could be constructive to do an thorough examination. desire this helps!

You had 5 extractions done?!! Are you getting ready to have chemotherapy ? That is almost unheard of in this day and age...unless the teeth were neglected to the point of being unrestorable...Poor hygiene can effect healing time.....
